*The CMU-C is a public means-tested complementary health insurance for low-income individuals.

* * Mutual insurance companies being regulated by the Insurance Law Book, they are taken account of in the category "Private insurance", unlike mutuelles who are regulated by the Code of Mutuality.

* * * Insurance brokers are agents who trade health cover contracts on behalf of insurance providers (mutuelles, provident societies, private insurers). All contracts for which the provider could not be determined are classified in the category "Insurance brokers".
