Dictionaries containing common entries and

German, Hungarian, Italian, Latin, Norwegian, Portuguese, South
African, and Swedish.
The "Ergane" application uses Esperanto as an
auxiliary language because it considerably shortens the list of
bilingual translations for each entry. Online version of the English /
French, Français / Anglais Dictionary compiled by the Office de
la langue française du Québec (the Québec
French-Language Office), a governmental organization created in 1961
and whose mission is to promote the French language.

translation dictionaries: Spanish Dictionary, French Dictionary and the

Glossaire multilingue de termes médicaux
This glossary of medical terms in nine European
languages was compiled by the Heymans Institute of Pharmacology and the
Mercator School's Department of Applied Linguistics and was
commissioned by the European Commission. It contains an index of
technical and common usage medical terminology and is accessible in any
one of the nine languages. For each term, translations in the other
eight languages are furnished, along with a short English definition.

Lexique des IRSC (Instituts de Recherche en Santé du Canada)
This lexicon was prepared in collaboration with
the Terminology Standardization Directorate of the Translation Bureau
and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Translation
Service. It contains more than 1,700 entries and was developed to
promote consistency in communications throughout CIHR.

The Glossary of Terms Pertaining to Disabled
Persons contains some 1 800 entries. In this glossary the user will
find not only a reflection of sociological change, but the names of
programs, associations and organizations, as well as terms from such
related fields as rehabilitation and technical aids. The initial corpus
was compiled by scanning a dozen publications from Human Resources
Development Canada.
FREE TRANSLATIONS OF SHORT TEXTS
Reverso
This is a phrase translation program for the
following pairs of languages: English to French, Italian, Portuguese,
and Spanish; French to English and German; German to English, French,
and Italian; Italian to English and Spanish; Spanish to English;
Portuguese to English. Despite its slowness, the program is useful for
the translation of common phrases. This software program is also used

IATE (Interactive Terminology for Europe)
IATE is the inter-institutional terminology database of the European
Union. IATE incorporates all of the existing terminology databases of
the EU’s translation services into one interinstitutional
database containing approximately 1.4 million multilingual entries.
